Lanxess AG is a global leading chemicals group in the fields of plastics and rubber. Lanxess operations have a long history, rich with a tradition of research and discovery. Its roots go back to 1863, the year Bayer was founded. In 2004, Bayer AG combined most of its chemical activities and approximately one-third of its polymer activities into a new company: Lanxess Deutschland GmbH.
