eXact Plug-ins

Learn eXact is based on a modular architecture which allows you to expand or integrate the system in an easy and effective way. Main modules that can be developed on top of the learn eXact core solutions are:

• Learning Object Themes and templates that can be added to eXact Packager, allowing authors to easily create eLearning content for any output format, layout or device. learn eXact is shipped with a set of Learning Object Templates and Layout Theme libraries, but most clients soon develop their own templates embodying their specific pedagogical approach, as well as structural, interactivity and layout needs.
• Post-Processing Plug-ins can be developed to import/export content in any unsupported or proprietary format (plug-ins are available off the shelf for the main LMSs such as BlackBoard or WebCT).
• Publishing Plug-ins can be developed on eXact Packager (client side) or eXact Lobster (server side) to publish content to any third party LCMS, using Web Services or other APIs.

Publishing plug-ins are often bundled with Post- Processing plugins, thus allowing a full integration between learn eXact and any third party system (plug-ins are available off the shelf for the main LMSs such as BlackBoard or WebCT).
