Xerceo Prescribe is one of the first knowledge management solutions to quickly and easily assist conversion of tacit knowledge or “know how” into explicit, trackable and assignable knowledge that enables editing and versioning by an authorised user or group member. Just like a knowledge wiki.
Step 1: Users can either create new content or search for any digital asset such as a PDF, html, PowerPoint . Xerceo Prescribe analyzes and displays what it believes are the relevant keywords or tags for the particular content. Tag selection can be based from an existing list or freely chosen.
Step 2: The tags may be edited and together with the chosen content converted to a SCORM conformant event that can be tracked by any LMS.
Step 3: Based on the tags, the content is automatically assigned to the right group or individual based on their previously determined tag preference. This preference can extend to one or more tags for fine grained knowledge delivery and tag based search enabling the right knowledge arriving at just the right time to the end user. Additionally, managers or end-users can track time received, viewing time, assign competencies and instruction compliance with existing business processes along with verifying completion and content comprehension. Xerceo Prescribe combines the benefits of an assignable learning compliant course with all the benefits of a collaborative wiki, enabling authorised users or group members to edit and version their changes.
