Acquired Competencies Certification
Acquired Competencies Certification (ACC) is a human-assisted and BPM-driven competency assessment process of people based on BPMS/SOA technology.
The ACC technology automates the certification process between the initiating organisation (company, school), its individual workers/learners and the ACC certifier. The certification process results in a competency profile test report and an ACC certificate.
The ACC process makes use of a next generation ‘specification neutral’ employabilityPortfolio repository. The employabilityPortfolio is a virtual placeholder for storing and/or referencing competencies, competence profiles as well as evidence records and personal achievements.
This repository is also capable of generating any standard specification (IEEE, IMS, HR- XML) or web service relevant to lifelong employability processes such as learning, competency management, APL, recruitment, assessments, etc.
The Synergetics ACC process typically reduces the cost of manual certification processes by an average of 50 percent.
